Three generations of my family have called Stony Plain home since my grandfather’s arrival in 1970, drawn by the promise of community, opportunity, and belonging. That same spirit drives my vision for Stony Plain’s future—a town that honours its roots while embracing growth, inclusion, and prosperity for generations to come.

Serving as your Mayor for the past 13 years has been a tremendous honour. Together, we have made Stony Plain stronger by investing in what matters most: people, places, and partnerships. From new businesses and bustling community programs to an upgraded Recreation Centre, enhanced roads, a modern library, and welcoming public spaces, our achievements are visible across every corner of our town.
But Stony Plain is more than buildings or facilities. It is a caring community built on the efforts of residents, volunteers, and local leaders, coming together to support each other in good times and hardship. Programs like Summer Sessions, Cultural Campfires, and Midsummer Thursdays aren’t just events—they are reminders of what makes us unique: our togetherness and our pride.

As Mayor, I am proud to have helped launch “Together We Shine,” a signature inclusion initiative that reflects our commitment to ensuring every person feels welcome and valued here. I am inspired daily by the smiling faces in our community, shown at grand openings, fundraisers, and gatherings on my social feeds. Your participation and resilience have shaped our progress—and it’s your aspirations that guide my continued leadership.
